Chocolate Chip & Oatmeal Cookies
My twist of a healthier version of said cookie!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix together the whole wheat flour, old-fashioned oats, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon. Set this aside as you will come back to it later.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine butter (melted), sugar, honey and peanut butter. Once you have a creamy consistency, add vanilla and egg. Continue to mix!
  4. Slowly add the dry mix to the wet mix. Stir until fully combined.
  5. After you have mixed it completely, add in the flax-seed! Stir up real good!
  6. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in.
  7. I spooned them onto the cookie sheet, each one 2 tablespoon balls.
  8. Bake for approximately 10 minutes, depending on your oven time.
Recipe Notes

They will be warm and gooey when the come out of the oven. Don’t burn your tongue tasting them too soon!
